Use MoneyGram

You can use MoneyGram^® to get your mortgage payment to us within minutes. You pay in cash at a MoneyGram facility and they electronically route it to HomEq's payment center.

Benefits:

• It’s fast. HomEq receives your payment within 15 minutes, which means you may save money on interest and possibly late charges or penalties.
• It’s secure. You will receive a “reference number” as proof of your payment, which means you'll know that HomEq has received your payment.
• It’s economical. MoneyGram offers reasonable rates, which means you save money over a certified check and/or overnight mail fees.

To Apply:

• You can fill out an application form at any MoneyGram location. You will need to know two items to fill out the MoneyGram form correctly:

• HomEq's Receive Code: 2392
• Your Account Number: Must be 10 digits. Leading zeros must be added to your account number if it has fewer than 10 digits.

Other Key Information:

• MoneyGram charges a fee of $8.95 to process a MoneyGram payment except at WalMart locations where the charge is $8.50.
• You must bring the amount you are paying in CASH (plus the appropriate fee) to the MoneyGram facility.
• You must select and fill out the blue MoneyGram payment form.
• You must call HomEq after you make the transaction at (800) 795-5125 and provide us with the "reference number" you received from MoneyGram.
• The cutoff time for same day MoneyGram payments is 3:00pm, PT, Monday through Friday.
